In 2008 I became a member of the Libertarian Party and the Libertarian Party of Utah because I believe in their message of preserving liberty. As long as you aren't violating the rights of other individuals you should have the freedom to live your life however best suits you. The proper role of government is to to preserve that freedom.

I am running for Utah State Treasurer so that like-minded individuals have another option on the ballot. It's also my hope that my presense on the ballot helps other Libertarian Party of Utah candidates.

If elected, I would be a strong advocate for lowering taxes, reducing government spending, and paying off Utah's debt. I would work hard to identify waste, fraud, and abuse. Additionally, I would work with the legislature to improve the quality and efficiency of necessary government services.
